Jonah Hill is connecting directly with fans in support of his raucous upcoming comedy, The Sitter, in which he plays an irresponsible delinquent who gets stuck watching a trio of kids. The trailer (which comes in two flavors: general audiences and restricted red-band) promises a raunchy take on what Adventures in Babysitting might have looked like if Elisabeth Shue had spent the whole movie fighting with drug dealers and giving out b***jobs. The Sitter is directed by David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express, Your Highness) and hits theaters on December 9.
Interested parties in need of a babysitter (or even just a minor distraction from phone apps and text messages) can call 917-409-7838, an active line that Jonah Hill will be answering randomly. Those not reaching Hill directly will be connected to his character's voicemail, where they're free to leave a message.
