Based on the short story A Day with Wilbur Robinson, Meet the Robinsons is a heartwarming sci-fi outing in which a young orphan named Lewis, who has a knack for creating brilliant inventions, meets Wilbur, a time traveler from the near future. Together, the duo jump some 20 years ahead to foil the plans of a villain with a personal grudge against the Robinson family.
This fun family adventure offers several surprising and satisfying plot twists without the mass convolution typically associated with time travel stories, and also delivers a great message on family and living up to your full potential. Audiences seeing it in Disney Digital 3-D will be happy to know that the technology looks great, is integrated seamlessly throughout the entire film, and isn't a distraction.
