Set during World War II, Hart's War is the story of American soldiers held captive at a German POW camp. When Lieutenant Lincoln Scott (Terrence Howard) is accused of murdering a fellow prisoner of war, ranking officer Colonel William McNamara (Bruce Willis) assigns Lieutenant Tommy Hart to defend him. Hart, a second year law student enlisted as an officer's aide, takes on the task despite his youth and inexperience. But his investigation into the homicide uncovers a plot with greater implications for the war--one that will test his own resolve, as well as that of his fellow soldiers.
Hart's War is part military drama, part action-adventure, and part courtroom thriller.
Based upon the novel by John Katzenbach.
