Gossip Girl's Blake Lively has been cast opposite Ryan Reynolds in next summer's blockbuster Green Lantern, in which she'll be playing Carol Ferris, Lantern's love interest and eventual superheroine Star Sapphire (although it's unlikely her character will get to that point in this first installment of the potential new franchise).
With all of the casting news that has surrounded this project lately, we wanted to know what everyone out there thought of Blake landing the coveted role. We're happy for her success, but we're biased because she was such an unassuming sweetheart when we interviewed her for Accepted a few years back. So we pose the question to you, dear readers...
