Following the success of Shrek the Third, Mike Myers reprised his role of a cranky Scottish ogre for the small screen with Shrek the Halls, a television Christmas special. (Hey, if it worked for Star Wars, why not for another pop culture phenomenon trilogy?)
Shrek the Halls reunites Myers with Eddie Murphy as Donkey, Cameron Diaz as Fiona, and Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots in a holiday adventure for the whole family. Backing up the core quartet are the memorable supporting characters of the franchise, including Pinocchio, the Three Pigs, the Blind Mice, and of course, Gingy the Gingerbread Man. Despite a shorter story aimed at younger audiences, fans will be happy to know that the animation is on par with that of the feature films.
DVD bonus features include sing-alongs for "The 12 Days of Christmas" and "Deck the Halls"; Gingy's Dunking Game; a demo and cheat code for the Shrek Carnival Craze video game; and a DreamWorks Animation video jukebox.
To commemorate the release of Shrek the Halls, we're giving away three copies in advance of the holiday seasons! To enter our random drawing, simply fill out the form below...
