In a summer that saw domination from Iron Man and a little movie called The Dark Knight, another childhood action hero managed to mount a monumental return: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull hauled in over $300 million as Harrison Ford reprised his role as the legendary archeologist. Now, the latest adventure of the good Dr. Jones is available on DVD and Blu-Ray.
Crystal Skull is the first new release on Blu-Ray from Lucasfilm Ltd. and Steven Spielberg!
The single-disc DVD includes a pair of featurettes on the movie's pre-production and Indy himself. The 2-disc special edition DVD also includes the following additional bonus features: trailers and photo galleries; the pre-visualization work behind three pivotal action sequences; an in-depth, 12-part production diary that delves into the making of the movie; and an X-Box 360 game demo for Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures.
Fans picking up the 2-disc Blu-Ray edition will get the featurettes in brilliant HD, as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes looks at production elements ranging from the special effects to the iconic props.
