In the comedy Smart People, the routine of a quirky, dysfunctional family is thrown for a loop when professor and patriarch Lawrence Wetherhold (Dennis Quaid) suffers a head injury. Suddenly, he finds himself depending on his slacker brother (Thomas Haden Church) and falling for his doctor (Sarah Jessica Parker), who also happens to be a former student. In the midst of this chaos, the recovering professor also has to contend with his sarcastic, estranged daughter (Juno's Ellen Page).
Smart People is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray, and loaded with special features, including interviews with the cast and crew; director and writer commentary; a collection of outtakes; nine deleted scenes; and exclusive footage from the film's premiere at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. Plus, you get to see Ellen Page in a snarky and sarcastic role--I mean, in what other movie can you see that?
