The Disney vault is opened up once more for a whole new generation! 1963's animated classic The Sword in the Stone, which tells the tale of a young King Arthur under the tutelage of a kindly old wizard Merlin, has just been released as a special 45th Anniversary edition, which includes the following bonus features:
- Music Featurettes - A selection of Disney musical numbers, along with a profile of the film's composers and the deleted song "The Magic Key."
- The Sword in the Stone Scrapbook - A behind-the-scenes interactive program with a photo gallery and facts about the film.
- Merlin's Magical Academy - An all-new game in which Merlin tests viewers' knowledge of the world as they are transformed into different animals.
- Bonus Cartoons - A pair of medieval Disney shorts, including Knight for a Day, in which Goofy gets tangled up in a jousting tournament, and Brave Little Tailor, in which Mickey must live up to his tall tales and try to slay a giant.
