It's been called one of the best dramas on TV, and it's one of the few examples of a remake thriving and flourishing creatively (in fact, it might have single-handedly forced the critics to start being generous with the term "re-imagination" in place of the dreaded "remake" label). And it's been lauded by even non-sci-fi fans for its top-notch writing.
Now, the third season of the Sci-Fi Channel's groundbreaking Battlestar Galactica is available on DVD as a 6-disc box set loaded with goodies. All 20 episodes of Season 3 are to be found in this must-have collector's set, including an extended version of the episode "Unfinished Business," which features 25 additional minutes of never-before-seen footage. Fans will also be treated to over 15 hours (Yes, more than half a day!) of special features like webisodes, podcasts from the show's creative forces, and deleted scenes and audio commentary for select episodes.
All this, plus blonde bombshell Tricia Helfer drawing the gaze of all the guys on the cover. C'mon, you might not even like Battlestar, and you still want this DVD just for the box...
