One of our favorite films of 2007, Enchanted puts a modern spin on the classic Disney fairy tale to create a heartwarming, self-referential romantic comedy. Amy Adams steals the show as a traditional Disney princess sucked out of the animated world of Andalasia and transplanted into modern day New York, mimicking the mannerisms of an ink-and-paint cartoon with uncanny deftness. The film also features Susan Sarandon as her evil nemesis, and Patrick Dempsey and James Marsden as her leading men.
