Legend of the Black Scorpion features lush, elaborate period costumes and sets recreating 10th century China. On the action side, intricate fight sequences are choreographed by Jingwu Ma (Seven Swords) and Yuen Woo-Ping (fight choreographer for the Matrix and Kill Bill films).
The fully loaded 2-disc DVD set from the Dragon Dynasty label features commentary, interviews with the cast and crew, photo galleries, a "making of" featurette, and a behind the scenes look at the movie.
