There have been countless movies based on the works of Jane Austen, but few to dramatize the author herself. Becoming Jane does just that, imagining the life of the iconic writer in her native period, but with a modern sensibility. Anne Hathaway portrays Austen, while rising star James McAvoy (The Last King of Scotland, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe) plays her main squeeze.
Becoming Jane is available on DVD and Blu-ray, and includes several bonus features: a featurette on Jane Austen, interactive "pop-up" facts, deleted scenes, and audio commentary from director Julian Jarrod, writer Kevin Hood, and producer Robert Bernstein.
To commemorate the video release of Becoming Jane, we're giving away 5 copies of the film, but with a big trivia element to favor Anne Hathaway's fans. Along with our standard contest entry form below, you'll also find an optional Anne Hathaway trivia quiz. Everyone who enters this contest (whether or not they answer the optional quiz) will be entered into a drawing for 1 of the 5 copies of Becoming Jane. The other 4 copies will be awarded straight up to the four highest scorers of the trivia quiz.
Because many knowledgeable Anne fans will participate, we expect a lot of perfect scores on the quiz (10 of 10).
